Daniella “Dani” Martinez

Coach | ODH Player Project

Daniella Martinez is a coach and trainer with ODH Player Project who brings both competitive playing experience and a passion for developing athletes. She began her playing career with FC Dallas, later continuing with Texans Soccer Club, before competing at the collegiate level with Trinity Valley Community College, a NJCAA Division I program. During her college career, Dani also played for a semi-professional indoor team (RP) and currently competes in the UPSL.

Dani has coaching experience working with youth teams, including Atlas, and is entering her second year of coaching. Her philosophy centers around building confident, disciplined players who understand the game at a high level. She emphasizes strong fundamentals, smart decision-making, and creating a positive environment where athletes are challenged to grow in every session.

Her training style is highly engaging, as she often actively participates in drills and exercises, helping players learn through demonstration and interaction. Dani specializes in finishing, positional awareness, and developing a strong competitive mindset, with a focus on developing midfielders and defenders.

Athletes who work best with Dani are those who stay positive, keep their heads up during challenges, and consistently push themselves to improve. In her sessions, players can expect high energy, technical development, and a strong focus on game intelligence.

Dani is a lifelong student of the game and is motivated by helping players reach their potential both on and off the field.
